Yolanda joined FDC in 2016 after 10+ years working with real estate attorneys. She is excited about the challenge of gaining new knowledge as to the process of acquiring and developing of land and viewing the end result. Yolanda loves spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Veronica Vega-Capistran has worked for Friendswood Development Company since 2006. Veronica works closely with the project managers coordinating and overseeing all steps of the contract process. Born and raised in Houston, Veronica is actively involved in her church community. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends outdoors.
Shane has worked for Lennar Homes for nineteen years as the Division Environmental and Safety Manager then transferred to FDC in 2021 as a Land Development Manager. Shane enjoys spending time with his family, playing music, hunting/fishing and completing his bucket list.
Sawyer joined the Friendswood Development Company team as Senior Acquisitions Manager in 2012. Prior to joining Friendswood, Sawyer spent 8 years at Pulte Homes in the Land Division and 3 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Audit Associate. A native of Katy, he graduated from Florida State University with a BBA in Accounting and from University of Texas with a Masters of Accounting. Sawyer stays busy with his 3 children and keeping up with the Florida State football team.
Ross Peters, a Houston Native, joined Friendswood Development Company in November 2021 with experience in project management. Ross holds a degree in Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching college football, and hunting in South Texas.
Preston joined Friendswood Development Company in September 2018 with experience in land development engineering and project management. He graduated in 2013 from Texas Tech University with a Masters in Environmental Engineering. Preston enjoys spending his free time outdoors fishing, hunting, and golfing.
Michael joined Friendswood Development Company in 2007 as an Acquisition Manager. Since then, he has served in many roles responsible for acquisition, entitlement, conceptual design, development, and marketing of Friendswood’s portfolio of communities and acquisition and management of the finished homesite portfolios of FDC’s affiliated builder brands - Lennar, Village Builders, and nuHome.
As Vice President of Land, Michael currently oversees a team of experienced leaders in the development of all Friendswood Development Company communities.
Margaret worked for Lennar Homes for two years and then transferred to FDC in 2003 as a Job Cost Analyst. She loves to reconcile accounts, recover Mud receivables, and working with all the project managers. Margaret enjoys traveling, crafts, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and pets.
McKinleigh was born and raised in Friendswood, Texas. She started working for Friendswood Development Company in January 2019 after graduating from Texas Tech. While at Texas Tech, McKinleigh received her BBA in Management. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her dog and traveling.
Michael has been with Lennar for 13 years and started his career with the company as a New Home Sales Consultant. He worked his way up to Sales Manager, then Director of Sales, Vice President of Sales, and most recently, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Michael was named Division President of Lennar’s Houston Division in early 2021.
