The Friendswood Development Company Team
A 2001 Graduate of Texas A&M University, Allyn started his real estate career as an investor in 2006. Since then he has owned residential rental homes, car washes, and storage units. Allyn joined Friendswood Development in May 2018 as an Acquisitions Manager and enjoys spending time with his two kids and riding his motorcycle.
Bailey joined Friendswood Development Company in January 2019 as an Acquisitions Analyst. He holds a B.S. in Economics and a Master of Land and Property Development degree from Texas A&M University. Bailey’s favorite activities include wade fishing, golfing, and watching NFL RedZone on Sundays.
Brian Gibson serves as a Director of Land Development for Friendswood Development Company. Brian joined Friendswood Development Company in August of 2003 as a project manager. While attending The University of Houston, he worked as a project manager in the civil engineering field. Brian graduated from The University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is a registered professional engineer licensed in the State of Texas. Brian has been married to his wife Kathy for 22 years and enjoys whatever his three daughters want to do!
Carlos graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and joined Friendswood Development Company in January of 2016. While at Texas A&M, Carlos was actively involved with Just4water, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing self-sustainable and economical water solutions for developing nations. Originally from Acapulco, Mexico, Carlos has been living in Houston for over 10 years.
Chance was born and raised in College Station, Texas. He joined Friendswood Development Company in July of 2019. While at Texas A&M, Chance received a BBA in Finance and a Masters in Real Estate. Prior to joining FDC, Chance was an intern at The Texas General Land Office in the asset enhancement division. Chance’s favorite activities include fly fishing, hunting, and rodeo.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, David joined FDC in June 2015. David holds a BA in Fine Art from New England College and a Master of Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University, where he also served as Graduate President of the American Society of Landscape Architects student chapter.
Ethan graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and joined Friendswood Development Company in June 2014 as a Project Manager. While at Texas A&M, he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and the Ross Volunteer Company, as well as a Terry Foundation Scholar. He is actively involved in several non-profit Christian organizations.
Jeb joined the Friendswood team in 2014 with experience in design and development projects within several market sectors. He holds degrees in civil and structural engineering, both from Texas A&M University, is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas, and is a LEED accredited professional for new building design and construction. He loves spending time outdoors with his family, traveling, and international relief work.
Jorge, a Houston native, graduated from University of Houston with a BBA in Finance/Accounting. Serving as Senior Staff Accountant he joined Friendswood in February 2017 with 5 years of experience in the real estate industry . He enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and obsessing over cars.
Kate Davis began her career in land development in 2013 and joined Friendswood in 2016 as the Assistant Controller. Prior to joining Friendswood, Kate spent 3 years with a manufacturing company as Controller and 3 years at Deloitte as an Audit in Charge. Kate graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BBA in Accounting. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, fishing and scuba diving.
Leticia Torres has proudly served Friendswood Development Company since 2005. In this time she has assumed many roles such as: filing clerk, receptionist, and accounting clerk. As of 2015, Letty was promoted to Project Administrator where she will face great challenges and gain new experience, something she’s looking forward to. Leticia enjoys cooking, shopping and spending time with her family.
Margaret worked for Lennar Homes for two years and then transferred to FDC in 2003 as a Job Cost Analyst. She loves to reconcile accounts, recover Mud receivables, and working with all the project managers. Margaret enjoys traveling, crafts, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and pets.
McKinleigh was born and raised in Friendswood, Texas. She started working for Friendswood Development Company in January 2019 after graduating from Texas Tech. While at Texas Tech, McKinleigh received her BBA in Management. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her dog and traveling.
Michael joined Friendswood Development Company in 2007 as an Acquisition Manager. Since then, he has served in many roles responsible for acquisition, entitlement, conceptual design, development, and marketing of Friendswood’s portfolio of communities and acquisition and management of the finished homesite portfolios of FDC’s affiliated builder brands - Lennar, Village Builders, and nuHome.
As Vice President of Land, Michael currently oversees a team of experienced leaders in the development of all Friendswood Development Company communities.
A Houston native and proud father of 2 children, Michael graduated with a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Houston.
Michael is from San Antonio, where he was the youngest Boy Scout in his troop to reach the rank of Eagle Scout at 14. Michael has been with Friendswood Development since he graduated from Texas A&M in May 2018 with a BBA in Finance. While at A&M, he was the VP of the Commercial Banking Program. He spends most of his free time reading about the stock market and rewatching Game of Thrones.
Monica Vega-Duffield - Acquisitions Planning Assistant and Executive Assistant to the Division President for Friendswood Development Company since 2003. She is a Houston native and is an active volunteer for Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Clinic, Lennar Special Olympics' Program and Houston Ronald McDonald House.
Patrick Carrigan-Smith joined Friendswood Development Company as Acquisition and Development Manager in December 2018. He graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas. Prior to joining Friendswood Development, Patrick spent 9 years in the Land Development field on both the engineering and homebuilding side. Patrick enjoys traveling, hunting, and spending time with friends and family.
Preston joined Friendswood Development Company in September 2018 with experience in land development engineering and project management. He graduated in 2013 from Texas Tech University with a Masters in Environmental Engineering. Preston enjoys spending his free time outdoors fishing, hunting, and golfing.
Robert began his career in land development in early 2013, joining Friendswood as an Acquisitions Manager. Born and raised in College Station, he completed degrees in Urban Planning and Land and Property Development at Texas A&M before moving to the big city. Robert's free time often consists of carpentry projects, running with his lab, outdoor adventures, and serving at his church.
Sawyer joined the Friendswood Development Company team as Senior Acquisitions Manager in 2012. Prior to joining Friendswood, Sawyer spent 8 years at Pulte Homes in the Land Division and 3 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Audit Associate. A native of Katy, he graduated from Florida State University with a BBA in Accounting and from University of Texas with a Masters of Accounting. Sawyer stays busy with his 3 children and keeping up with the Florida State football team.
Veronica Vega-Capistran has worked for Friendswood Development Company since 2006. Veronica works closely with the project managers coordinating and overseeing all steps of the contract process. Born and raised in Houston, Veronica is actively involved in her church community. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends outdoors.
Yolanda joined FDC in 2016 after 10+ years working with real estate attorneys. She is excited about the challenge of gaining new knowledge as to the process of acquiring and developing of land and viewing the end result. Yolanda loves spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
