Woodtrace Foundation Makes $4,000 Donation to the Tomball Intermediate School's Library
December 22, 2021The Woodtrace Foundation made a $4,000 donation to the Tomball Intermediate School Library. The grant was able to provide a 3D printer the printer supplies, small robots arts and crafts items, and legos for building with challenge card to challenge students to build and create something out of their legos. Art pads were purchased that use water pens for students to draw on and feel confident in their drawings. After drawing for a bit, the art drys and fades away which is great for practicing their art skills.
"The library only had one self worth of items before the donation. After the donation from the Woodtrace Foundation, the library was able to stock their shelves with further learning items for the students," said Kate Davis with the Foundation and Friendswood Development Company.
The Woodtrace Foundation was created to invest in the future of Woodtrace and the surrounding area by sponsoring programs and events that enhance the quality of life for the community residents.
