1969
New Land Acquisitions
While providing a community for many employees of the Johnson Space Center in Clear Lake City, Friendswood Development Company was soaring to new heights itself with exciting land acquisitions in other parts of the Houston area.
1972
The Livable Forest
While Intel introduced its first microprocessor, Friendswood Development Company introduced generations of families to the natural wonders of The Livable Forest, also known as Kingwood. Other communities would soon follow, including Copperfield in West Houston.
1988
It's All Here Now!
Friendswood Development Company navigated the ups and downs of the fluctuating economy of the 1980s with a strong leadership position in Houston. While improving on our success in our existing communities, we introduced a new community called Fairfield, which would bring excellent home values to many new families.

Friendswood Development Company celebrates continued success in its well-known, established master-planned communities as well as some of its newest communities which include Graystone Hills in Conroe and West Ranch in Friendswood.

Tavola & Woodtrace
Friendswood Development Company starts a new chapter in the company's history with the grand opening of two new Houston master-planned communities: Tavola and Woodtrace. 2014 proved to be an extremely strong year for new home sales, with FDC working hard to keep up with the huge influx of people moving to Houston and buying new homes.
