Friendswood Development Company has announced the acquisition of 1,560 wooded acres located seven miles north of Kingwood that the location of its newest master-planned community – Tavola.
The first phase of the community is now complete in Tavola, which includes the entry lake and the first three sections of home sites. The initial phase of Tavola offers homes priced from the $190,000s to the low $400,000s on 50-foot, 55-foot and 65-foot wide home sites. Lennar Homes and Perry Homes are the neighborhood's first home builders. Future sections will include 75-foot wide home sites and patio homes. Additional building programs will be considered as the community progresses.

Additionally, Tavola will be the second exit north of the intersection of the future Grand Parkway and Hwy. 59.
