An Out of This World Party Celebrates a New Edition at Space Center Houston

An out of this world party celebrated the announcement of Space Center Houston’s plan to build an addition which will feature a full scale model of a space shuttle.
Guests were greeted by characters from Space Center Houston and valet attendants dressed up as astronauts. Over 200 attendees showed their support at the party hosted by Pat Cunningham just before the holiday season. The Chevron company generously supported the project’s unveiling with a gift of $100,000. The guests gathered at the River Oaks home of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Mosing. The highlight of the celebration was the book signing of Mark Kelly and Garielle Giffords new book. “Gabby: A Story of Courage and Hope”.
Take time in the new year to visit the only place on Earth that gives guests an out-of-this-world journey through human adventures in space. Space Center Houston is “a $75 million, 180,000 square foot, ‘edu-tainment’ complex has entertained and informed over 15 million star-struck guests from every corner of the globe.”
